Project Prompt: In this project, students will watch, listen to, and use transcriptions from the debate series Intelligence Squared to inform a design piece that reflects their point of view on the debate in question. Designed pieces may take any form and must include remarks from both sides of the argument, though graphic treatment is up to students. This project will serve to provoke students’ conceptual abilities, will elicit a notable stance on a topic, and will open up formal issues which students must navigate to produce a convincing design piece.
