Upsidedown Coffee was founded by Bri and Josh in 2025. They have a passion for making delicious coffee and creating casual and welcoming spaces where people can come together and build community. They started out with a coffee cart and are now renovating and opening their brick and mortar in Holland in the spring of 2026.

Their vision for the Upsidedown Coffee brand was a 70’s inspired logotype and vintage diner aesthetic. The hand-drawn quality gives it an imperfect “come-as-you-are” and down-to-earth feel. The letter edges have been beveled to further the marker/hand-drawn aesthetic.

The word “down” has been flipped which gives the reader an experience reading the text which further promotes the mission of Upsidedown Coffee. The hand-lettering is paired with a retro serif, representing UC’s mismatched vintage aesthetic.
